24 year-old Rihanna has been gathering attention onstage and offstage with her recent messages via Twitter. The singer cleared up her spiritual beliefs on social networking site when she re-tweeted a message from popular Christian pastor and author, Joyce Meyer.
"If Satan can defeat you in your thoughts then he can defeat you anywhere else as well," Meyer tweeted and Rihanna re-tweeted on June 4.

Rihanna seemed to enjoy the encouragement from the minister so much so that she even sent a tweet directly to Meyer.
"@JoyceMeyer you're awesome," the singer wrote.
When a fan messaged Rihanna about how Meyer is "one of the few with the non-corny quotes on Twitter," Rihanna responded kindly saying--"Get into her books."
The spiritual conversation did not end there. Rihanna took to Twitter to share her own divine inspiration about Satan and mind-games.
"The devil wants to steal your joy because he knows that joy is your strength," Rihanna tweeted. "That is why sometimes we need each other."
Rihanna continued to show that she is not fearful about expressing her personal beliefs. A few days later, she tweeted another message from Meyer.
"God works according to the law of gradual growth, so don't be discouraged if your progress seems slow," the message read.
Rihanna followed up with a message of her own to fans: "Whatever may be your task, work at it from the soul, as it was something done for Jah [Jehovah] and not for men," Rihanna wrote.
According to the statistics, Joyce Meyer receives an average of 170 reactions per every 50, 000 followers on Twitter. Although the ministers typically have less followers than Rihanna, they prove to be more influential.
