On January 21st, Cody Walker has published a statement on behalf of the Walker Family, addressing his decision to serve the organisation as the brand manager:

"My family and I truly appreciate the support we have received during this difficult time. One of the many things I admired about my brother was his genuine desire to help others in need.

As many of you know, in 2010 Paul Walker founded Reach Out Worldwide, a disaster relief organization. It is with great honor that I have decided to join the ROWW team as Brand Manager. I look forward to working with like-minded individuals and partners to ensure ROWW continues to aid those in need in the years to come.

As Paul would say 'when you put good will out there, it's amazing what can be accomplished.' We can all make a difference in this world and I am honored to join the ROWW team in fulfilling my brother's legacy and ensure that the good my brother did lives on."

The ROWW team has recently been deployed to Philippines to support the Typhoon Haiyan's victims and despatched its second team for the EF4 Tornado in Illinois, Washington. In the past charity work, Paul Walker, along with all the ROWW team members aimed to aid the needy without attracting media attention - which was widely commended by the fans.

One of the Fast & Furious fans recalled a memory of co-working with Paul Walker in the disaster relief:

"When tornadoes ravaged Tuscaloosa, Alabama, ROWW was there and Paul was with them. I had some friends who lived there so I immediately went up there to help them in any way that I could. During my time there, I came across Paul. I had the honor of getting to know him a little bit and learning about his dream. I remember him saying "Hey beautiful, I know you're excited about meeting me, but can you do me a favor?" I said of course and he said "please don't tell anyone that I'm here. I don't want the cameras and press. I'm not here for media attention. I'm here to do what I know in my heart is the right thing." He was the most beautiful person (inside and out) that I have ever had the honor of meeting."

The death of Paul Walker in a car crash late November has given great grief for his family and fans, yet it spreads the name of ROWW and brings the disaster relief work the unprecedented influential power. The ROWW team formally welcome Paul Walker's brother Cody Walker, honoring him as "a skilled paramedic and a great guy":

"TeamROWW would like to formally welcome Mr. Cody Walker to the Team. Our goal everyday is to become a stronger organization. We are very excited for the opportunity to add someone who is a skilled paramedic and a great guy."
