"DeVon makes me better, makes my life fuller, and completes my quality of life," Good said to People Magazine. "He's truly on my team and I am truly on his. God revealed my heart to him like nobody else."
"I've never had more peace, fun, and joy than I've had with her," Franklin added.
The 30-year old star became engaged to the Sony Pictures Entertainment executive and Seventh-day Adventist minister in March. Good had previously announced that she would not be intimate with her future husband until marriage. Now that she is with Franklin, the actress is staying true to her word.
"Our wedding night will be the first time we're actually together," Good said in an interview with Life & Style magazine.
When Franklin suggested that they wait until marriage to be intimate, she knew he was the right husband for her.
"Because he was willing to be celibate with me for a year," Good told the publication. "He loves God, more than I love God, so I don't think there's anything wrong [with him]."
Franklin attended Pastor T.D Jakes' 35th Anniversary Gala in Dallas a few weeks ago. He mentioned that he hoped other couples would be inspired by the action he and Good are taking.
"We want our marriage to be one of truth, one of love, and hopefully model God's love. In reality we're not perfect," Franklin said at the event.
"But we are striving to live a life of Christ. We are striving to be an example of what his life looks like on this earth, and hopefully through our union people will be inspired, people will see themselves in us," he continued.
Good, who also attended the gala, commented on the benefits of waiting until marriage for intimacy.
"The relationship is completely different. When you know somebody and you know their heart, it's not even a question about the physical part of it that comes into play completely later on," the actress said.
"You really just get a chance to understand what you're getting. You don't just want to be with this person on Friday night, but Saturday afternoon too."
The newly-wed couple will be honeymooning duing the holidays. Good is currently filming on NBC's Infamous and will wait until they have wrapped to celebrate with her husband.
"There is so much going on," she adds. "But it's wonderful to have a partner to have so much fun with!"
