Resonate will screen several documentaries including-- "The Land Cries Out for the Blood that was Shed," which tagline reads--"A Documentary about Abortion from the Biblical Perspective."
Other notable documentary screenings include "Blessing, Curse Or Coincidence" and "The Forsaken Promise," both exploring deep topics regarding Christian or Jewish people in history and what the future holds.
A panel of judges made up of industry leaders will select films to screen and distribute awards during a press conference on July 18.
"The festival is a celebration of creativity that aims to reach the culture with thought-provoking, redemptive messages," Curtis Riskey, CBA executive director, said in a statement.
"These films have the ability to reach people where they are, inspire them, and to see Christ reflected in a relevant way."
CBA and Propeller consulting from Nashville, TN, constructed Resonate as a channel to showcase Christian media accessible in theatres or Christian stores.
"Propeller is pleased to partner with CBA on creating Resonate Film Festival," Bob Elder, executive VP and COO at the company, stated.
"The growth of the Christian film category over the last decade is astounding, and this opportunity for retailers to get a first look at new films from emerging filmmakers should not be missed. We hope the festival helps retailers better integrate film in their stores, better serve their customers, and ultimately, advance the Gospel."
