Carrie Underwood has sparked tweet rage on Tennessee lawmakers over the AgGag Bill, which makes undercover investigations concerning animal abuse illegal.

“Shame on TN lawmakers for passing the Ag Gag bill. If Gov. Bill Haslam signs this, he needs to expect me at his front door. Who’s with me?” Underwood, who is a self-claimed animal lover and activist, tweeted.

The Ag Gag Bill would require anyone with a video footage to submit an unedited copy to law enforcement within 24 hours.

Needless to say, Underwood's tweet was not left unnoticed but sparked some Twitter rage.

State Rep. Andy Holt, a State Republican, suggested that the country singer should rather focus on her singing career.

“I would say that Carrie Underwood will stick to singing, I’ll stick to lawmaking,” Holt told WSMV.

“I think what we need to do is make sure and recognize that if animals are being abused it needs to come to justice, and it needs to come to justice quickly,” Holt explained. “And that’s the intention of this bill, bar none. No matter what anybody tells you. That’s the intention of this legislation.”

“I should stick to singing? Wow...sorry, I'm just a tax paying citizen concerned for the safety of my family,” Underwood fired back at Holt.

And her rage seems to be unstoppable.

“@BillHaslam Please don’t sign the Ag Gag bill. Think about the welfare of the animals as well as the consumers. I’m begging you,” Carrie said in another tweet.

“It’s not all about big business. Please look out for the little guys! Show TN that you have a heart… #NoAgGag,” she continued.

The Ag Gag Bill may also pose threat to food safety, labor issues, and First Amendment rights, Underwood and her supporters are concerned.
